"Boston's new voice in acoustic rock" - The Boston Phoenix. It's hard to believe that just three years ago, Adam Ezra stepped out onto the stage to perform at his first solo concert. Today, whether you take a look at his extensive concert history, listen to his music on MTV's "Real World", or check out a show with the "adam ezra group", you will undoubtedly understand what a wild ride it's been. At the ripe old age of 26, Adam considers himself an experientialist as much as musician or songwriter. Whether it's living out of a van, farming in Canada, relief work in Kosovo, student in South Africa, kitchen hand or carpenter, teacher or traveler, Adam manages to cram it all into the music, always challenging our perspective and often teetering somewhere between the ballsy rocker and sensitive poet . After a touring schedule that has taken him around the country as a solo artist, Adam has come back to his roots in New England to form the "adam ezra group". Joined by John Appa on the drums and Jimmy Saulnier on bass, the trio have successfully transformed Adam's lyrically-based folk music into an acoustic-rock agenda that's packing the clubs around Boston. Like most people say...."you've gotta see these guys live!" Most recently, the band has just signed a deal with Budweiser to perform their music as part of the Budweiser "True Music Live Series". This will thrust 'G into the national spotlight giving great exposure to their band and their music. This comes just after a very successful sponsorship from Nantucket Nectars where the Adam Ezra Group performed during their "Concert on the Drop" tour. The concert series hit a number of New England Colleges and helped increase 'G's fan base. 'G has just released their debut CD entitled "Sessions" and even though they've finished this CD, they are continuing to write and record new music.
