Andrew Clark has been one of the Boston area's most in demand freelance saxophonists since he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1987.

He has performed and/or recorded with the following bands: SAXATTACK, Gary US Bonds, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Peter Wolf, Tom Hamilton, James Montgomery, Bruce Marshall, Two Bones and a Pick, The Love Dogs, Michelle "Evil Gal" Willson, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish, Brian M's, 11th Hour, Rick Russell and the Cadillac Horns, Toni Lynn Washington, Boston Baked Blues, Catharine and the Greats, George Gritzbach, Stovall Brown, Hub Caps, Swinging Johnsons, Steve Smith and the Nakeds, Jerry Velona, Jimmy C and the Real Deal, Listen For Pleasure Productions, Motor City Rhythm Kings, One World, Part Time Lovers, Sandy Mack and the Heartattacks, Signs of Life, Buddy Johnson with Weeping Willie, Stop Time, Birdbrain, Blue Heaven, Wilbur and the Dukes and many others.

Since January 1995 he has been writing for Saxophone Journal, an internationally distributed magazine. His column "Rock and Roll Saxophone" appears in every issue and he recently interviewed Bruce Kapler (saxophonist on the Late Show with David Letterman), David Woodford (saxophonist with 'ros mith, Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray Vaughn) and Clarence Clemons. He has also recorded a children's CD for Dorn Publications.

Andrew produced a master class CD on playing blues and rock and roll saxophone in Sept 99 issue of Saxophone Journal. A short story Andrew wrote was featured in the Gig Nightmare column of the Nov 99 issue of Gig magazine.
He started the band SAXATTACK in 1994 because he wanted to have an outlet for his favorite style of playing - blues and rock and roll. He has had the pleasure of having the following saxophonists play with his band: Gordon "Sax Gordon" Beadle, Mario Perrett, Scott Shetler, Mark Earley, Steve Tully, Glenn Shambroom, Sid the Kid, Cookie Cook, Jim Calandrella, Jeff Giacomelli and Henl ey Douglas.
