The Kominas grouped in 2005, and assembled a base in the suburbs of Boston. They have released one full-length album, Wild Nights in Guantanamo Bay, and toured the USA three times since. In 2007, 3/4ths of the Kominas re-deployed in Punjab, Pakistan, where they took on sensitive sights like the World Performing Arts Festival in Lahore, and concerts in the mountains north of Islamabad. Their transmissions are circulated more than the rock-god himself, Osama bin Laden, and they consistently get more air-time than the Taliban, the US military, twitter and the gays. Currently, the Kominas are itching to spill more North American blood.
