Daniels, who was so taken by the Somerville, Mass.-based foursome's wit and charm that he went into business, producing quality animal products, including catnip toys and health medicines for cats, dogs, and the occasional horse. The Anchormen, comprising Chris Braiotta, Jef Czakaj, Heath Row, and Tom Scanlon -- but not containing them; make no mistake -- soon bought out their shares in Dr. A.C. Daniels' Medicines and turned their attentions, finances, skills, and time to crafting the Perfect Pop Song. Compared by some to Human Sexual Response, the Nervous Eaters, the Jam, and the Buzzcocks, the boys are close. Oh, so close. Call them manic. Call them inane. Just call them.
