The Dead Wires love to rock, pure and simple. They are well aware of Boston's rich rock and roll history, and they aim to follow in the footsteps of the veteran Boston bands on which they were raised, while blazing a trail all their own. Standing tall as the band's frontman is Roger Poulin. No stranger to the Boston music scene, Roger brings to the table rock solid rhythm guitar, soulful vocals, and song writing that will bring you to your feet, then knock you to the floor. Behind the keys is Mr. David Fry, singer, songwriter and brother of guitar god in training Stephen Fry. Together they are a dynamic duo of rock power. David brings a dramatic edge to his playing and songwriting, while Stephen spins solos that can bring tears to your eyes. Laying the bass down hard is a relatively new face to the Boston scene, the one and only Sam LoCascio. Born in Chicago, raised in Austria, this rambler has made Boston his home, and has brought to The Dead Wires, experience, a dash of the Austrian sound, and the kind of bass playing most bands can only dream of. Last but not least, laying down the beats is drummer Mike Guerra. After taking a few years off from the scene, Mike is back and better than ever. Tipping his hat to idols Ringo, Moon, and Mason, Guerra takes what he knows and molds it into a sound all his own. Together The Dead Wires are a new sound for Boston. Hesitant to compare themselves to established bands, The Dead Wires feel they have devloped a sound all their own. Intesnse yet sensitive, subtle and theatrical, theirs is a sound that will make you move, and leave you wanting more.
