When I think of Boston HC/Punk I think of GangGreen, Showcase Showdown, Dropkick Murphys, but THE FREEZE hardly ever comes to mind. It's because THE FREEZE are a PUNK institution and have molded a sound so their own that they transcend geographical classifications.I think THE FREEZE are the best PUNK band to ever come out of the New England area. Bill Close is THE Punk guitarist in the region and Clif Hanger writes the most unique, honest and disturbing lyrics of ANY lyricist. It's been over 20 years guys, DON'T BREAK UP NOW, Please!!!

I've known Clif Hanger and crew for years. How they've managed to keep things even somewhat together with the trippy, legally threatening, crazy shit they've done, is a miracle. Hi you guys, and keep up the madness!

I can't believe such an incredible band actually comes from the Cape! The Freeze alone have made it so Cape Cod can be proud of it's bands. I hope some of the other young bands here look to THE FREEZE as an influence and can stand up and inherit The Freeze's place as "The only band that matters" from this desolate, tourist-flooded, inbred peninsula!
