Scott Harris' musical adventure begins in New Orleans, his first full day on Earth being Mardi Gras Day. From day one, literally, Scott was introduced to Mardi Gras insanity, Meters-style funk and lots of live music. The school bus radio and his parents' record collection took care of the rest, filling him with Motown, Classic Rock, and 80s music. Since leaving New Orleans and moving to Boston (with a 4-year Philadelphia stint in between), Scott had been touring nationally for the last four years as a featured singer of the highly-acclaimed Ball in the House (who independently sold over 40,000 albums during his stint), Scott played over 1000 shows at just about every type of live venue imaginable: from colleges to clubs, malls and high schools, performing arts centers, arenas and even stadiums. Career highlights include appearances with The Calling, Jewel, Edwin McCain, The Wailers, Sugar Ray and others. Not to mention a fulfilling chat with Jessica Simpson when they played together. Scott's honest songwriting style brings together the soulful nature of Lenny Kravitz and Motown, the semi-sarcastic, honest songwriting of Ben Folds and Pete Yorn and the quirky observation of John Mayer.
