Defeat Lost is a pop-punk/punk/alternative rock (or whatever you wanna call us) band that was formed during the Summer of 2003 by four guys who met and became friends in high school. After their first year of college apart, they realized that music was something that they needed to make them happy, and soon after that the band was formed. They were known as A.P.E. (Alex.Paiva.Experience) for a short time and decided to permanently change their name to Defeat Lost to move ahead and to be taken seriously. Defeat Lost is from southeast, MA. Influenced by some of their favorite bands such as Good Charlotte, Mest, New Found Glory, Blink-182, The Ataris, Midtown, The Starting Line, and Green Day. Now in college, these four guys began to rock out and make music the only way they knew how. ~defeat lost~ has only played some small gigs so far but hope to continue to spread their music throughout the state, and hopefully some day throughout the country.
