Part of my chin is still on the Brickhouse floor"- JR of 100.3 WHEB"One of the best bands I’ve seen on tour in a long time"- Stephen Richards, Singer of TaprootOver the years Breathe has built a following by performing along side numerous national acts such as Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, Bury Your Dead, Suicide Silence, Chimera, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Full Blown Chaos, Spineshank, Taproot, In This Moment, Diecast, 40 Below Summer, Reveille, Scars of Tomorrow, Silent Civilian, E-town Concrete, Ill Nino, Disturbed, Nonpoint, Flaw, Blindside, Skrape, Powerman 5k and more. The band has also shared the stage with Boston's northeast top regional acts at Boston's top venues.In 2007, Breathe co-headlined Avalon in Boston, MA, released their first notable EP titled, "Follow the Silence". They held their CD release party at Axis in Boston to over 850 people. The band continued to perform well into the new year in support of the release. The EP has received continuous airplay on rock radio stations and college radio programs.In 2008, the band had a major shift in members…They parted ways with their bassist and drummer and added second guitarist, Stephanie Curran (ex Screams of Erida), bassist Mark Avery (ex Thru the Walls) and drummer Steve Jensen (ex Three Minute Theory). During this time they acquired endorsement deals from Spector Basses and Guitars, Silverfox Drumsticks, Sinners and Saints Tattoo shop.One of their first shows back with the new line up was at the Worcester Palladium as support for Reveille. They had a great crowd response and sold out of all their merchandise.Breathe kicked off 2009 by performing at the Boston's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)® Gala, the new Boston House of Blues and the Music as a Weapon tour. As well as performing as support for Korn, Taproot, In This Moment and Diecast. They were also featured five days in a row on New Hampshire’s rock radio station 100.3 WHEB.Breathe is currently in the studio recording a two song EP with John Helmig of Verse Media. The EP will feature a video for the song "The Fire Within" as well as some band outtakes. The band plans to release the EP then start pre-production on their first full length album.
