Most recently I had the privilege to see the band Stories of Mary. We were invited to an intimate get together where the band performed. This band has two female members, a vocalist / guitarist and a bass player. Although the surroundings were modest, the vocals and musical arrangements were majestic. The band prides themselves on writing and performing all original music. For a newly established band û these girls have truly got it together! Each girlÆs individual ability seems to naturally compliment the other. The vocalist has a sweet almost sultry voice that reaches out and grabs your attention and depending on the tune, touches your heart. As a result, their lyrics and pop rock musical style is quite appealing. The small group that was in attendance was held spellbound. I believe there are great things on the horizon for this young band Stories of Mary. My recommendation, catch a performance if you can û youÆll be impressed!
